For your appointment, please ensure you bring a valid, non-expired government-issued ID. In compliance with California regulations, individuals must be 18 years of age or older to undergo a tattoo procedure. No minors will be accommodated, and no exceptions or notes will be accepted.

While payment methods may differ among our artists, every member of Memento Mori Tattoos can readily accept both cash and card payments. Furthermore, you may refer to individual artist profiles for their preferred payment options.

Yes, we require a deposit to secure your appointment time. The amount of the deposit will depend on the size and complexity of your tattoo and varies on artist. 

This will be applied towards the final cost of the tattoo.

At Memento Mori Tattoo, the pricing of a tattoo is determined by factors such as the size, complexity, and placement of the design, our artists will collaborate with you to craft a design that aligns with your budget and style. 

Our shop has a minimum charge of $100 per client, applicable for small and simple tattoos. Hand-sized tattoos may be subject to a customized price quote, while larger designs are billed at an hourly rate of $200 per hour.

If you have outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, camping, or other sweat-inducing and sun-exposed plans, it's essential to plan your tattoo accordingly. Allow for a healing period of at least 2-3 weeks, and sometimes longer, before engaging in such activities.

Please be aware that we cannot perform a tattoo on sunburnt or peeling skin.

For the comfort and efficiency of our studio, we kindly request that you limit the number of visitors to one additional person accompanying you, unless your party is receiving tattoos. Please note that our studio space is limited, and visitors will not be permitted into the procedure room. Depending on the situation, we may ask for specific group members to be called in as they are ready. 

Please be aware that no children are allowed inside the shop, our services are exclusively for individuals aged 18 and above.

Pain thresholds vary from person to person. Generally, getting a tattoo does involve some level of discomfort, but it is usually manageable. It's important to note that sensitivity can vary in different areas of the body. 

We strongly discourage applying numbing cream without consulting your artist, as this action may lead to forfeiture of your deposit. Various qualities of numbing creams are available, and they can influence how your skin and tattoo respond. 

Due to these factors, some artists may choose not to work with numbing agents.
